The last two weeks has seen my BA Hons degree reach its conclusion, and tied in with the end of my course has been the launch of my latest website build for an Australian company ‘Halfbrick’.

The website is to promote their current iPhone game application ‘Fruit Ninja’ which is taking the App Store by storm all around the world.

I had been playing the application, and decided to approach ‘Halfbrick’ to see if they were willing for me to take on the job of designing their ‘Fruit Ninja’ website. This all linked in with my final BA Hons Degree module really well, and I felt it would be a great opportunity for me to carry out some work across the world away from my usual local jobs.

Throughout the the project I communicated with their Marketing Manager, Phil Larsen, who gave me the go ahead for the project and constant feedback and direction over the duration of the build. The web design itself went through a couple of variations before reaching the final look you see today. The design was to be high impact, that would instantly deliver the message of what the application was all about. The game has a real sense of style and fun so this really gave me a great platform to work with. Be sure to check out the completed website at www.fruitninja.com and let me know what you think.

I would like to thank all at ‘Halfbrick’ for giving me the opportunity for taking on this design job, and hopefully this will lead to a future working relationship with the company. The application has now sold over million copies worldwide, and is well worth the low price, so be sure to give it a go if you’re an iPhone owner.
