Good afternoon (or morning/evening if not from my side of the world), and Welcome to the new R and P Design Blog…
I’m Rob, the creator of this website, and the producer of the work that you see around here. I’m currently a student at Ashford School of Art and Design in Kent, England, and I am undertaking a BA (Hons) degree in ‘Visual Design and Communication’. I have just over a month left before I’m let loose into the free world to hopefully continue on in a Design related path throughout my future career.
Self confessed Computer and Video Game, Movie going, Apple Obsessed, Design Geek.
That statement pretty much sums me up, I’ve grown up with computers, from my first ‘Dragon 32′ system, through to the latest generation of consoles, and since I’ve been grabbed by my design addiction I’ve also moved away from the PC to my new home of the mac!! My life is kept in sync with MobileMe, and my iPhone might as well be my pacemaker as I’m not sure I’d see a day through without it.
If you’ve had a look around you’ve probably noticed I like to dabble in a few different areas, from design, to web, and even in the field of animation. I also have a keen interest in photography, but that has taken a bit of a back seat over the last two and a half years. I do find if something does grab my attention then I will invest the time and try and do the best I can within that area, and a bit of variety is always good.
Anyways, enough about me, what is this blog going to be all about?
Well, I will be using this place to mainly document about projects I’m undertaking, including a current university module relating to ‘Future Web Technologies’, but they’ll also be a fair few odd mad ramblings around here, about anything that interests me really, from the most recent gadget I’ve bought to my latest fav movie.
The actual next time you’ll hear from me is when I post ‘My Top 10 Most Inspirational Websites’, yeah I know these kind of lists are everywhere, but these are personal to me, and they are sites that have really gotten me interested in the web design world over the last year and a bit.

Very nice, very nice indeed, definitely worth the last few days of designing and coding, now it’s back to designing that auto scroll Pepsi site.
Once you’re free from uni you should try designing a Silverlight site, Silverlight > Flash > HTML5! Lol!

Wow!!!! You’re a clever stick! Beautiful logo by the way :) it sits very nicely x and perfectly set x the coloured boxes remind me of mum and dads old telly from the eighties x tis all good!!
